Happy May Guys!
I hope you are doing amazing?
I visited Élan the prettiest floral cafe I’ve seen last Sunday. I have to confess that my friend and I decided to have brunch there only because of the ambience but the food and service were great as well.
The wait time however was crazy as the cafe was so packed. We were at the Park lane branch first, and waited over an hour because the space was smaller. After an hour’s wait, we found ourselves at the Brompton road branch which had a much bigger and beautiful space thankfully.
I’m assuming it you visit on a weekday you won’t meet the crowd and have an even better experience. The staff were amazing, they made sure to check on us during our meal, were generally helpful and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals.
I had the Buttermilk Chicken Goujons with Courgette and Halloumi fries. The food was great, although it could have been spicier but that’s just my preference and the fries could do with less salt.
My friend had their Shashouka with houmus and flat bread which wasn’t bad at all, let’s just say she still had her eyes on my chicken.
I hope you enjoyed this post and you have the most beautiful month.
